SENIOR UROLOGIST

Dr.Vinod.K.V is a senior urologist in Trivandrum imparting urologic care to patients with care and expertise for the past fifteen years. He takes lot of care to choose the best available treatment for his patients and deliver it with expertise and compassion. He had his medical graduation (MBBS) from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. He further had his surgical training (MS-General Surgery) and superspeciality training in Urology (MCh -Uro) in the same institution. He had worked in the urology departments of CMC, Vellore and Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. He has large experience in managing urologic cancers during his stint in Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum as honorary consultant. He has performed around 8000 urologic procedures both major and minor.

 He has presented many papers in the state, zonal and national scientific forums and published articles in indexed journals in Urology. Many regional conferences and CME programmes were conducted under his leadership. Various health education camps and awareness programmes were organized for the public. He has published many articles in the newspapers and health magazines and has participated in the health programmes in the visual media for creating public awareness in Urology.
